Maman, j’ai ratĂ© l’avion (Home Alone) est une comĂ©die familiale amĂ©ricaine rĂ©alisĂ©e par Chris Columbus, sortie en 1990. Le film connait une suite, sortie en 1992, et intitulĂ©e Maman, j’ai encore ratĂ© l’avion, ainsi que Maman, je m’occupe des mĂ©chants ! en 1997.

La famille McCallister embarque pour Paris pour y passer les fĂȘtes de NoĂ«l. Seulement voilĂ  : Ă  bord de l’avion, Peter et Kate McCallister s’aperçoivent qu’ils ont laissĂ© chez eux le plus jeune de leurs fils ; Kevin, ĂągĂ© de seulement 8 ans. Principalement tourmentĂ© par ses frĂšres et sƓurs, il est chĂ©tif, insouciant et effrayĂ© (particuliĂšrement par son voisin le mystĂ©rieux PĂšre Marley), mais il est aussi trĂšs intelligent et dĂ©brouillard.

Alors que sa famille tente de faire quelque chose depuis Paris et que sa mĂšre tente tout ce qu’elle peut pour retourner auprĂšs de lui, Kevin, de son cĂŽtĂ©, est fort content de s’ĂȘtre dĂ©barrassĂ© de sa famille, laquelle lui tape souvent sur les nerfs et le met parfois Ă  l’Ă©cart en raison de sa position de benjamin. Il goĂ»te alors Ă  une vie tranquille, faisant lui-mĂȘme les courses et se croyant dĂ©finitivement seul ; mais il ne sait pas que deux cambrioleurs ont prĂ©vu de vider la maison le soir du rĂ©veillon de NoĂ«l. Il finit tout de mĂȘme par connaĂźtre l’existence de cette inquiĂ©tante vĂ©ritĂ© et devra dĂ©jouer les plans de ces deux individus pour protĂ©ger sa maison.
